About Me

I am a UX designer with ten years of experience designing and developing interactive experiences and products.

As a hands-on team lead, I work with multi-disciplinary teams on products for museums, corporate and public spaces, as well as on web-based and mobile apps. From the ideation phase and experience strategy, and all the way to production and launch, I work iteratively and collaboratively to design products that are engaging, enjoyable, meaningful and memorable.

In my side projects is where I get to play around with ideas on my own, exploring interaction that is tangible surprising and magical, using homemade circuit boards, code, sound, and video. My work has been exhibited at galleries, labs, festivals, and museums, such as the NYC Media Lab, EPFL+ECAL Lab, London Design Festival, SXSW, and the National Museum of China and many others.

I hold an MFA in Design & Technology from Parsons the New School for Design, where I was later teaching creative coding and computation to grad students. At the moment, I enjoy closely working with and mentoring the young talents in the G&A studio.

Quick History

I currently, 2018 (and for the last 4.5 years) work as a Lead UX Designer at G&A. My team is working on experience strategy and design for entire museums, looking each time for new and meaningful ways to tell stories that map to a journey through the space.

In 2012, I was a UX designer at Fondu app. The team facilitated and created a community built around sharing bite-sized reviews about places to eat and drink. In 2012, we were featured at WWDC12 & Apple App Store and got hired-acquired by Airbnb.

Between 2011-2014, I was a student, and later on a part-time faculty at the MFA Design & Technology program, The New School. I was on a full Dean scholarship and graduated com laude. I was teaching Creative Computation course & Code Bootcamp (summer program).

In 2011, I was on a team developing a series of complex HP web-based applications for operation centers of print houses. Collaborated with NGSoft and HP’s IA, UX and development teams in an iterative and agile process.

2009-2011,  I was a UX/UI designer and was part of an agile product design team working on complex web-based and mobile platforms.

In 2008, I was part of a small team developing the interaction and interface design of the First Else phone. We were asked to create a futuristic sci-fi interface for over 30 built-in apps. Our team was working side by side with IA, XD groups, engineers and product managers.
2006-7 I was working for the television industry, designing for motion, packaging entire channels, promos, and designing prototypes of early smart TV interfaces.
