The Piano Visual Bar

A mechanical device, a system of switches implanted inside a piano. The switches turn on and off by the touch of the keys, translated into visuals.

I took some classes and developed from scratch this piano hack as part of my application process for the MFA Design & Technology program, The New School, NYC. I learned on the go how to program Arduino boards and made my first steps in electronics. This portfolio piece has won me a full Dean Scholarship.
